Community of Grace Lutheran Church
Community of Grace Christian School was founded in 2004 by Pastor Steve Mahan at (then-called) First Lutheran Church with the vision of expanding their ministry through a learning environment, centered on Jesus, where kids could thrive and excel academically. He believed that a biblical viewpoint would give them a firm foundation for the rest of their lives. Our school has embodied this mission for more than 20 years, offering a Christ-centered, academically excellent, caring, safe community that develops the whole child – heart, soul, mind, and body. The school and the church have distinct purposes and day-to-day activities, but we share much more than a roof. Together, we are a loving community of Christ’s followers, inspired to share God’s grace and spread His love to people – of all ages. We are a shared community of grace ministry.
Community of Grace Discovery Center
Our Lake Area Discovery Center pre-school site opened in 2003 and became the second site to partner with LADC. The site has continued to grow over time and is currently the largest site in the program. Community of Grace Discovery Center seeks to support parents and children through a creative environment that promotes and teaches Christian values, honors diversity and fosters fellowship within the total community.
